Christmas Mittens

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all well and progressing nicely with all the christmas things we need to get done, Im afraid I am so behind with things this year, but I think as long as we can have a lie in christmas day and chill a bit through the day that will be great for us all here.

Today I thought I would share with you some Christmas Mittens I have made using Dreamees MDF mini mittens, they are now  on our christmas tree and they look lovely even thought I do say so myself he he .

The actual mini mittens I have used are available here

I have used papers from our simply christmas cd rom in pink available here I have just glued the paper on with cosmic shimmer glue and trimmed around the mittens when dry, then distressed the edges with gathered twigs distress ink pad  just to give a used brown look on the edges. I then used a quickie glue pen available here and added glitter across the join of the plain pink paper to the patterned paper. I then added a silver snowflake charm with a gem on the top too to add a bit of interest, I also used a piece of twine to add a bow, a little tiny pink button and a couple of twirled strips of paper for a bit of interest to the join part, I then added more twine to tie the 2 mittens together.

These mitten could also be used for maybe a new baby for a nice handmade gift.

Thank you for looking today and I hope you like the project, all of the items can be purchased from Dreamees at www.dreamees.org.uk

Have a nice day

Glittery Seasonal Tree.

Hello Everyone.

I hope you are all keeping well, and getting on with your Christmas Shopping I am just not in the mood for it this year think I must be getting old ha ha .

Anywya today I am sharing with you all this card I made as a demo for our last show on Create and Craft but sadly didnt get to show you it all coming together so I thought I would share it with you all on here.

I have used the Seasonal Trees stamp set. I really do love this set of stamps they are so versatile and you can do any colours for the seasons as you get all the little blossoms, leave etc. I have used vellum paper to emboss the lovely tree onto using True White cosmic shimmer embossing powder this is stunning when finished. I added Dreamees glitter in the, Treasure and Chocolate sundae colours available on our website at www.dreamees.org.uk
I have also used the stamp set the florals flowers set of stamps again embossed to blend in with the card nicely, the sentiment is from unique sentiments set of stamps too.
I attached the tree topper onto gold mirror card using brads because the glue can show through so I have gone for this option in the gold colour brads.
I also added a gold swirl using the Brother Scan and Cut machine and the swirl is from Dreamees Cuttables cd rom. Thank you so much for taking the time to look at my post and I hope it inspires you a little.

Gorgeous Gifts Decorated Folder

Hello Everyone,

First of all I must thank you all for watching any buying from our shows on Create and craft last Friday the 21st November, we had 2 amazing shows one with the lovely Dave Bradford and then the second with the fantastic Leonie.

Today I am sharing with you the folder which I made as a demo but sadly didn't get to it, so therefore as well you didn't see it as a sample, so here goes , this folder is from the cd Gorgeous Gifts available on our website too as the deal with create and craft finishes this evening at 11.59 so if you would like it at the special price be really quick.
I decided to do this folder in Kraft card as I love the look of it when finished I used papers from the same cd but if you wanted to use some from a different cd that is always possible because the templates on the cd are in black and white for you to decorate.
I then added some matt and layers to add a bit of interest used gathered twigs distress ink pad. I then added the Dreamees lace which os so gorgeous we love it so much and add it to everything. I also added the lace down the spine of the folder for a nice shabby chic look too then added a lace bow to the front also adding a vintage button from the lace and button collection available only at Create and Craft,
I then stamped out some of the flowers from the floral s stamp set added pearls to the centre and added them across the bottom of the folder.

I do hope you have enjoyed looking at this post.
See you all again very soon.

December Birthday card

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all well. Everything is going at such a fast pace here at the moment, I just don't know where the year has gone.

Tomorrow starts the big craft show at the NEC, Dreamees wont be exhibiting there this year, but as a treat for you all we are doing a live demo on the Create and Craft stand on Thursday at 1pm with the lovely Dean Wilson, then on Sunday we are doing a free workshop using Dreamees products on the Create and Craft workshop area so be sure to pop by and join in with us you must book for this first thing though to secure your place.

Right on with the card I am showing you today, this one I have titled December Birthday, I think looking for a December Birthday card is so difficult because all we seem to see is christmas cards, so when Hayley designed the Calendar stamp set I just thought wow this is amazing you can use it all year round for birthdays also for weddings etc and all special dates we make cards for.
The papers I have used have been printed out from the Cuttables cd which has been on Create and Craft last time we were on there which was the 21st of October, along with the Calendar stamp collection which I have used the month December and noted the date with the circle which comes in the stamp set too. I also added some of Dreamees lace across the card and used the sentiment from the beautiful blossoms stamp set same as the flowers for embellishments.
I then added a seam biding bow with a gem in the centre to finish the card.

I would just like to thank you for visiting my blog today.

Have a wonderful day.

Fuchsia Cuttables

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all well, all great here at Dreamees HQ, after a very busy week from our show on Create and Craft on Tuesday this week. A big thank you to you all, who made it so special for us with more sell outs on the show. We had some new items on the show which proved so popular which is great so wait for more coming very soon.

Today I have a card to show you which I have made using the Cuttables Brand New cd rom for use  with cutting machines, like Brother Scan and Cut and the Silhouette Cameo , this cd is only available here at the moment.

I have made the card using embellishments from the cd also the lovely sentiment is on the cd too, this cd comes with cutting files in various formats for the machines, also lots of backing papers for you to print and lots of other things too so you can make your card from start to finish with this cd.

First of all I cut the mask for the background of the card, then the leaves and the fuchsia shape petals to make up the 3d flowers. I must admit the Fuchsia is one of my fave flowers so this is why I picked this one to make. I then printed out the sentiment and  used a spellbinders die to cut this out, but having said that you could cut a  shape on the machine which are already on there when you purchase the machine, it may not be like this one but there is plenty on there.
I then stuck the mask to the base card, also the leaves in an arrangement ready for the 3d flowers to add onto. I added the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner and added a bow using the seam binding available here
To make the flowers I printed the paper on both sides so you cant see the white of the paper underneath, for the middle stamens of the flowers I just cut like a fringe effect and glued those into the centre.
This is then the card finished.

Thank you so much for looking at this card today. I really appreciate it.

Recipe of Christmas Eve

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all doing well, and looking forward to a lovely weekend.

Here at Dreamees HQ we have been really busy again which is fantastic. Last weekend saw us travel to Port Sunlight the Happy Stampers Festival, wow what a show it was so nice excellently organized everyone so friendly too, we met so many new customers which again was lovely, we had some lovely chats with crafters too which is always so nice.

This week saw us on Create and Craft yesterday (Thursday 9th October) wow what a fantastic show too, we had the lovely Nigel May for our presenter he  always a pleasure to work with we have so much fun which is great.

This weekend we are busy with getting more stock sorted for the show next weekend at the Dome in Doncaster which the show is called Whichcraft.

Getting onto the card I am showing you all today is a sample we took to Create and Craft it shows the stamp sets, Christmas Recipe Bundle, and the Twig Wreath which are available only from Create and Craft for 1 month, here is the link to take you to them http://www.createandcraft.tv/Dreamees_Christmas_Recipe_Bundle_-_3_Square_Stamp_Sets-328963.aspx?fh_location=//CreateAndCraft/en_GB/$s=dreamees

Also I have used the new Gem Collection, http://www.createandcraft.tv/Dreamees_Gem_Collection_-_Approx_800_in_total-328969.aspx?p=1

For this card I have used some lovely Vellum embossed with a folder through the E bosser which gives such a lovely effect for the base card. I then stamped the flowers from the Twig Wreath stamp set with versamark and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer  True White Embossing Powder , shaped the petals and layered up the 4 sizes together to make 3 flowers then added a gem in the centre of each one.
I then stamped the Recipe stamp with Silver embossing powder cut this out with a spellbinders die, added this to the top right of the card, then added a smaller flower made as before just using 2 sizes of the stamp, added 3 gems to the bottom of the verse. Also I then added the swirl which is the Tonic Die Frond Finesse cut out of silver mirror card.
I do hope you enjoy this post and leave a comment.

Thank you again

Bag a poppy !

Hello Everyone,

Well how are you all? We are all ok here at Dreamees HQ, we had a busy weekend with being at a papercraft show in Birmingham at the Motor Cycle museum, it was lovely to see so many friends and  customers again.

Today I have a Poppy Bag to show you which I made a week or so ago now and only just got time to post on my blog. ( Oh Dear )

When we were doing the Hunkydory show at Stoneleigh, our friend Elaine Robinson brought  some bags to show us which she had decorated using our cds so I thought after seeing those I would have a go because Elaine had done a brilliant job they really did look so lovely, so heres my go at it .

I have used a blank brown paper bag cream card, mirror card papers from our Creative cards cd available here  also our Poppy Fields stamp set available here, also Striped Delights stamp set available here. I have also used 3 different colours of pink promarkers for the poppies, and 2 different greens for the grass, also I have used cosmic shimmer embossing powder Bright Gold.
The Die I have used is Frond Finesse from Tonic Studios.

Right here goes with the way I made it up, First of all I cut a rectangle of cream card to cover the marjority of the bag base, also matt and layered with gold mirri card and a pink backing paper from the cd. I then cut a narrow rectangle again with the cream card then gold mirri and another paper from the cd. I also added a doilie from my stash, and just distressed the edges of that with gathered twigs distress ink pad.I then stamped the poppy stamp with versamark inl pad and embossed with bright gold powder. I then coloured the poppies with pink promarkers and the grass with the green promarkers.
I then stamped the various flowers from striped delights stamp set onto the printed paper I had left and embossed again with the bright gold powder. I then cut the die in gold mirri card added that to the bottom of the bag and arranged the poppy topper to the centre of the card and placed the flowers around for detail.
I then added a cream bow for added detail.

I then decided to add a little tag to the handle so you can write on it for the gift. I cut a small piece of card and folded it in half , masked the poppy stamp as I only wanted one poppy on this tag, did the same embossed and coloured in as before, layered up as I did the topper and added a small flower to finish.

Thank you so much for taking the time to have a look at my blog.

Take care speak soon.

Dreamee Christmas Lantern

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all well.

Has anyone started their Christmas cards yet? We at Dreamees have been making them since May , lol. At the moment we are actually making Christmas cards for us to send to our friends and family.

At Dreamees this week we have released some new Christmas stamps even though I say it myself they are gorgeous, here is the link if you fancy taking a look - http://www.dreamees.org.uk/stamps-129-c.asp

Whats needed :

Dreamees Lantern Stamp http://www.dreamees.org.uk/christmas-lantern-2370-p.asp
Snowflake stamp
Dreamees Happy Holidays stamp http://www.dreamees.org.uk/christmas-lantern-2370-p.asp
Kraft Card
Pattern Paper (Various Dreamees CDs )http://www.dreamees.org.uk/cds-1-c.asp
Ribbon
Gathered Twigs ink pad http://www.dreamees.org.uk/distress-ink-pad---gathered-twigs-2077-p.asp
Versamark ink pad
Promarkers in green red brown and pale lemon.
Cosmic Shimmer Bright Gold Embossing Powder
Lace

Today I am showing you all a card I have made using the new Lantern stamp available here I think this is one of my faves of the new releases, because you can either do it traditional or modern, I opted for traditional.

I started with a cream card blank, distressed all the edges with gathered twigs distress ink pad, added a matt and layer of kraft card and patterned paper from our christmas cds. I did this with 2 more rectangle pieces of kraft card and pattern paper added those to the base card.

I then stamped the Lantern stamp 2 times available here in versamark heat embossed with bright gold embossing powder onto cream card, cut the main image into a rectangle edged with gathered twigs ink pad and second generation stamped a snowflake stamp around the image. The second image I stamped and embossed I cut out the bits I wanted to decoupage up, and coloured these with promarkers.

I added some red striped ribbon across the layers before adding the topper and a piece of lace too to add a bit more interest. I then stamped the poinsettia s onto spotted paper from Dreamees cds again embossing with bright gold embossing powder. I then added a bow in the same striped ribbon to the top corner of the card. I added the sentiment Happy Holidays as a variation on what I would normally do.
I hope you have enjoyed this post, I certainly enjoyed making the card and writing about it.

Thank you so much for looking.

Shabby Rose

Hello everyone,

I do hope you are all well and enjoying this extra bit of sunshine we are all having at the moment, its nice for me because I like it sunny but cool if that makes sense so this weather is so great for me.

Anyway getting back to the card I am showing you all today this I have called Shabby Rose after the collection of stamps it is made from.
I have used papers from the "Something to Treasure" cd rom available here which has such beautiful papers on without counting the 16 lovely templates too, well worth buying, you will use it forever.
I have also used Tattered Lace and spellbinders dies.
Also my first attempt at colouring a full image in with the Spectrum Noir pencils these are becoming my fave at the minute.
I have also used the flower stamps from the Dress set of stamps available here.
First of all I created a white card blank 14cm square, then matt and layered some kraft card and papers from the cd, I did this a few times with different sizes of card and paper to make the interest of the layers I have also distress with the Gathered twigs distress ink pad available here.
I then cut the spellbinders oval die and stamped my image on it from the Shabby Rose stamp set available here, this image is so pretty, I then coloured the image with spectrum noir pencils and am really pleased with the effect. I added  two pieces of lace across the card added the topper in the centre after distressing the edges.
I then stamped the flowers out onto the patterned papers I had already printed and layered the petals up to make 3 d flowers to embellish the card, I added a pearl into each centre too. I then cut a Tattered Lace corner and leaves to add to the finished card.

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at this card.

Perfect Petals

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all well and enjoying the weekend, it seems a bit dull here, but at least that's great for crafting we don't have to go outside ha ha.

Well today I have a card to show you that I started making yesterday I wanted to use the Dreamees stamp set Perfect Petals available here, it is so versatile as you can make lots of flowers with the shaped petals and also can double up as leaves.

I started by stamping all the petals with a  versamark ink pad, then embossing with cosmic shimmer embossing powder true white, I then cut all the petals  out and stamped again over the top of each one with a small butterfly stamp also embossing again with true white powder, then the smaller petals I stamped with a small flower stamp, I then coloured on the back of the stamped image on the  vellum using a pink promarker to shine through onto the right side also still leaving the image lines of the stamp.
I then arranged the petals to form a flower of two layers of the bigger petals and 2 layers of the small petals, then using pinflair glue I layered them on top of each other leaving to dry overnight.
I have then cut a piece of vellum to go over my card blank stamped the small flower and embossed again in the true white, as you can see I love this embossing powder its so delicate, then used the same promarker and coloured on the reverse like before.
I have also used swirls from the tonic dies Frond Finese in silver mirror card to embellish. Before I stuck the sheet of vellum to the base card I glued the flower and swirls on to it then I could see where to add glue to the sheet so it wouldn'tshow through the vellum on to the right side. Also to finish I coloured a Dreamees pearl with the same pink promarker and added this to the centre of the flower.

I hope you like this card it is very simple to make with such a delicate finish.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my blog.

Have fun

Christmas Baubles.

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all well.

Today I am showing you a card I have made using the Dreamees Members September Freebie sheets which you can purchase the Dreamees Membership here .

I first of all printed all the sheets out and trimmed them to fit the card I was making. I have also used kraft card from my stash. I then matt and layered the pieces onto the main card adding a piece of lace across the card using double sided tape. I then added the Tattered Lace die Holly Flourish, which is really so delicate.
I cut out the topper and added Dreamees Twinkles diamond glitter available here, also adding pearls to each snowflake on the topper image backing paper.I then placed the double bow in the top right hand corner adding a small pearl to the centre.I printed the sentiments out half size and cut this out with a small spellbinders circle die coloured with Gathered Twigs ink pad  available here  I then cut some small circles out of the spare backing paper I had and made the curled roses placed a pearl in the centre added these 3 to the left hand side of the topper.

I do hope you have enjoyed this post.
Thank you so much for looking.

Creative Blog Hop

I was asked by the lovely Claire  if I'd like to join in with the Creative Bloggers Hop.  It's a continuous hop every Monday with a host of inspirational bloggers taking part every week.
So onto the questions.

1. What am I working on?

At this moment in time I am working on some samples from a new cd by Dreamees which will be launched on Create and Craft tv on the 27th August.!

2.How does my work differ from others in my genre?

Im not sure that I am different but I enjoy what I do and my daughter designs everything Dreamees do so we have a great input to what we like to use and hope others enjoy it too.

3. Why do I write/create what I do?

I just love everything crafty, papercraft is my ultimate fave too.

4. How does your writing/creative process work?
I mostly have an idea in my mind what I would like to create then go for some colourways in papers from Dreamees cds then it all somehow comes together.

Now onto the 3 Wonderful Bloggers I picked to carry the baton next week.

I have known Cheremane a while now and we met through papercrafting, she also does demos in her local shop using Dreamees products. Cheremane is brilliant with what she creates and loves papercrafting too.

I met Clare through Dreamees and found out she only lives down the road from us. Clare loves colouring and Dreamees products, Clare makes some wonderful cards and projects.

I also have made friends with Jennifer through crafting and facebook, I first looked at her blog when she had done some Zentangle which is amazing. Jennifer makes some lovely cards too.

So that's my contribution to the Creative Blog Hop and it's now down to these ladies next week!

Thanks for stopping by.

I do like to be beside the sea side !

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all well, all fine here t Dreamees HQ.

We had a really busy weekend last weekend with the Great British Cratf Festival, on the Friday we did workshops to over 240 crafters it was amazing we loved it, we did the Hat from our cd Templates and More and everyone enjoyed it. It was lovely to meet so many lovely crafters from all over.It was also my birthday on the Sunday , I received some lovely cards from customers , a box of chocolates from the lovely Cheremane Smith, also another bo from Kathy Mills and her daughter Cara, then a real lovely surprise I received a Fairy Door in MDF which I was thinking I would love one of those, from the lovely Mel Heaton, so a big thank you to you all.
Right, getting on with my card for today, I actually made it last week using the Dreamees By the sea stamp set available here i think this is such a fun set of stamps and you can use it for male or female cards, also for children too so a real all rounder.
I decided on a navy and red theme for the backing papers, also of the colouring of the boats, I did colour them in so rough as this is the effect I wanted to end up with, because the boats are like a sketch stamp so decided to stay with the sketch effect. I used promarkers for the boats, but for the sea and sky I used pan pastels available here. I matt and layered all different sizes of backing papers onto white card, to keep with the clean effect. I then curled some string to embellish in the top left hand corner tied a bow with the same string attached a little anchor embellishment too.I also added some navy ribbon and bow .
I hope you like this card and thank you all for looking, I do appreciate it.

Have a nice weekend.

A little bit of vellum

Hello everyone,
I hope you are all ok, we have been very busy here hence the lack of posts on my blog for  month, so sorry about it.
Today I do have a Vellum card to show you, I loved doing this card, it looks so special.
First of all I used the Tonic Die I believe it is the Intrica Butterfly one, to create the shape of the card, I then cut the same out of white vellum, attached this to the card matching it up to the shape of the card using glue which would then be covered by the flowers I add later. I then stamped  the Striped Delights flower stamps now available here( these stamps have been a huge success on Create and Craft, there is so much you can do with these)  using versamark, and true white cosmic shimmer embossing powder, then I used a quickie glue pen to go over the flower and used Dreamees Twinkles Diamond Glitter available here. I used 3 different sizes of the flowers in this set. I then added a sentiment from the Poppy Fields stamp set here. To finish I added pearls to each flower centre and across the middle .
I do hope you like this card as much as I do.

Just a little reminder for you all too, we are at The Great British Craft Festival, in Stoneleigh, this weekend, we are doing workshops on the Friday, I do believe the places for these have all been sold now, it will be a fantastic day. Then we have 2 fb days of the craft show, we are so looking forward to it and catching up with so many of you. We are on stand C5 so be sure to pop around and see what goodies we have.

Also our next show on Create and Craft is on the 27th August at 10 am I think or it could be 11am, check your planner to make sure lol. We have some new great products for you on this show you will love them so be sure to tune in.

Thats about it for today, have a lovely day and enjoy what you do.
Take care and thank you for looking.

Christmas Easel .

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all ok, crikey where has the last month gone, so sorry I haven't posted a card before only to say it has been busy is an understatement.
We have been to the great show Summer Crafting at Doncaster and wow was it a great show, we met lots of crafters, it was a fantastic event we loved every minute.

Tonight I am making time to show you a card which I have made for tomorrows Create and Craft show at 1pm with the lovely Nigel May. We do hope you can join us for this special bundle we have put together for you all. If you fancy a peek before the show here it is  - http://www.createandcraft.tv/Dreamees_Christmas_Stamping_Delights_Bundle_with_Free_Simply_Christmas_CD-322625.aspx?p=1

Right getting on to todays card it is an Easel Box card made using the Creative Cards template cd which was on our last show and it flew, thank you to each and every one of you who purchased it. I have used papers from the new cd Simply Christmas which is a free cd included in the bundle, of course you can buy it separate. I then added a piece of lace from our Lace Collection available here . I have also embossed the Tree stamp from the bundle  with Cosmic Shimmer Bright Gold , added red and green glitter from our vibrant glitter collection available here   I then printed one of the little calendars half size from the cd added a bit of embossing powder to give the aged look. Then  I embossed the striped bauble onto the writing backing paper. and made this into a flower all the bauble stamps can be made into flowers so they are very versatile. I then embossed the round baubles and added them to the right hand side of the card for decoration. I do hope you like this card, I decided to do it the traditional green and red, but of course there are lots of colour papers on this free cd to choose from so you can go tradtional , modern or contemporary whatever takes your fancy.

Anyway I do hope you can tune into our show  on the 22nd July at 1 pm.

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at what we have been up to. See you soon.

Present of flowers

Hello Everyone,
I  hope you are all well, and enjoying the lovely weather we are having this week, we are, although we have been working flat out ready for our show on Create and Craft tomorrow at  10 am, we also have Nigel for our presenter which is great. we are so looking forward to it and hope you are too.
Today I am showing you a card which will be on display tomorrow, I really enjoyed doing this card, it is using some stamps which have been shown before but I am sure you will love this card. I have decided on the pink colours for this one I just adore pink lol. I have also used Tattered Lace dies which were potw last time they are so gorgeous. I made the present effect with two pieces of printed paper and made it look as if the present is open with flowers inside.
The flower stamps I have used are called beautiful blossoms they really do look effective, I have used Distress ink pad gathered twigs for stamping in. I also added pearls for decoration too.

Thank you so much for looking.
Have a nice day.

Dreamees meets Tattered Lace POTW

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all well, I wont say enjoying the weather because its only been nice weather for ducks here with all this rain again. I hope it is a bit better where you are.
I have been very busy again making more card samples, cutting stamps etc for our next Create and Craft show on the 13th June.

Today I have a card to show you using Dreamees Shoes and Handbag stamp set available here also using the Tattered Lace Elegance Collection Vol 2 wow these dies  are so beautiful, I just want to use them on everything, so pretty and delicate. You can find Tattered Lace dies here  at the minute the dies I have used are only available from Create and Craft the link is - http://www.createandcraft.tv/Tattered_Lace_Elegance_2_Collection_Set_of_20_Dies-309216.aspx.

I have used an 8x8 scalloped white card blank, inked the edges with a gathered twigs distress ink pad, I then matt and layered a patterned pink paper from our Forever Florals cd which at the minute is available from here then matt and layered a white piece of card edged with gathered twigs distress ink pad again and a diamond piece of printed paper again from Forever Florals double cd rom.
I then cut an oval die from the Kedleston collection of the Tattered Lace dies, stamped the Dresser stamp, available here onto the oval, coloured the image in with promarkers in different shades of brown, and pink for the flowers. Then I cut a piece of the pink paper again to use the Kedleston border die matching it up was so easy as I wanted it the length of the card to fit down the left hand side on top of the inked white piece. I then added pearls onto the border where the circles overlapped.  I added a piece of pink striped ribbon across the card and added a bow to the right hand side of the card a pearl in the centre too..I then cut a Hardwick corner die from the same collection inked it again with gathered twigs just pulled the petals of the flower up added a Dreamees pearl to  the centre, placed this on the  bottom right hand corner of my card, also cut a Doily Flourish from the dies we have had a while this is so gorgeous too added this to the top right of the card again added a Dreamees pearl to the centre.
I then added my coloured topper onto the middle of the card, printed and cut some flowers from the Forever Florals cd , layered these up to make an arrangement on the left, also added a swirl rose to the centre of each one. I then cut a circle  from the Hardwick die placed that onto the right hand side of my image, printed a sentiment off the cd added this on top of the die cut to finish the card.

I must also add we have had the new blush E-Bosser this week, it is an amazing machine and it cuts everything we love it.

Thank you for visiting my blog please come back soon.
Thank you for your support.

Dreamees meets Tattered Lace POTD

Good evening ,

I hope you are all well.

We have had a very busy weekend as it was Hayleys birthday on Saturday she had a nice day although it was mostly working lol. We went out for a nice meal on Sunday too, which was very nice and I didn't have to cook then so even better.

Right getting on with my post today, it is a card which I have made for the Tattered Lace POTD on Ideal World launching at 9 pm on Tuesday 15th April, be sure to tune in these dies are lovely and so nice to work with. As alot of you know I just adore making flowers so this is right up my street.

I first of all used an 8 x 8 white card blank as I had the idea of using the Venetian  Fern as  like a wreath effect, which I cut out using papers from Dreamees cds , I then cut lots of the flowers out of the same papers and two circle and scallop spell binders dies for the sentiment to be stamped onto.
I then arranged the four ferns along each side of the card to make the square/circle shape wreath. I inked the flower edges with gathered twigs distress ink pad to give a bit of dimension, layered two large and two small flowers on top of each other to make a gorgeous daisy shape, I then added a pearl in the centre of each one and arranged these at equal spaces around the centre, then I stamped the Dreamees sentiment stamp in the centre of the plain circle die, attached this to the scallop one which again I added some gathered twigs distress ink to.

All in all I think this card would make anyone smile just like the sentiment says.

Thank you so much for looking and I would appreciate it if you could leave a comment.

I then cut the lovely Tattered Lace die Scallop Border on the grand calibur  this die is so delicate I love it,  added this cross my card for added detail, I ten stamped and embossed the flower stamps from the Dresser Stamp set and layered these up to make lovely flowers added 3 to the bottom  left of the topper then a small one in the middle of the ribbon bow.

Life is better with friends

Hello everyone,

I am trying to blog every week, honest lol. I hope you are all well, and enjoying the brighter days we are having at the moment.

We are getting ready for our next shows on Create and Craft which are Friday the 28th, we are live at 1pm with the lovely Dave Bradford, then again at 6pm with Lee Clarke, we haven't worked with Lee before so are looking forward to meeting him.

Today I have a card to show you which was on our last show last week, using the Letters / Alphabet stamp set and flowers which I made from the Dress stamp set, both available from Create and craft.

I started with a 5x5 scallop  card blank, then matt and layered black card , papers from the Pretty projects cd rom available here, then lay some fabulous lace from my stash across the card, I then used a Tattered lace little scallop border, I love these dies they are so delicate. Next I stamped my  message for the topper using the Alphabet Stamp Set this set is so versatile as you can stamp whatever words you like whether it be a personal message a quote or anything. I then matted it onto some black card and cut another tattered lace border to fix across the top to edge it a little. I then stamped and embossed the flowers from the Dress stamp set and layered them up to make a little display in the corner, then added some swirl die cuts again from tattered lace , then dded a few gems to the middle of the flowers and top left hand corner. The card is now finished , I hope you like it.

Thank you so much for looking.

Butterfly Dress

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all ok and enjoying this nice sunny weather, it makes us all feel alot better when we see a bit of sun.

Today I am showing you a card I recently made for a sample on our shows on Create and Craft, if you managed to see our show on Tuesday of this week you will have seen it on there.

Here is what I have used :

Black card
Dreamees Dress stamp set
Dreamees cd rom Pretty Projects
Black embossing powder
Versa mark ink pad
Collall glue
Spider web
Black and white pearls
Lace
Ribbon

I have used papers from the Pretty Projects cd available here , I  used black card and spider web also lace and ribbon from my stash.

I used a square card blank in black, I then matt and layered the papers and black card to the sizes I needed, arranged them on the base card. I then embossed the dress stamp, tiny butterflies and sentiment all from the same stamp set available only from Create and Craft at the moment  here . I put the spider web between the layers to give a bit of interest. I added lace and a bow before adding the topper.
I used the dress as the topper of the card and arranged the tiny butterflies down the side of the dress flapping the wings a little.
I then just cut some circles of the patterned paper and black card and made the swirl roses, also added a little pearl into each one, added a few black pearls for interest on the right hand side of the topper. I then finished the card off with a matt and layer sentiment flag.

Thank you so much for looking .

Have a lovely weekend.

Dreamees Heart Tree meets tattered lace dies.

Hello Crafters ,
I hope you are all well, today has been a really lovely day lets hope spring is on its way.
Today I have a card to show you from a stamp set I haven't used for a few weeks it is called The Heart Tree and is available here this stamp set was one of the first to go on Create and Craft on the Dreamees debut show back in November.
I have also used papers from the Pretty Projects cd rom available here , a Tattered Lace die called Victorian Square and it is so beautiful, it actually splits up so you can use different elements of it too, then I have added some string, pearls and lace from my stash.
First of all I cut my card to make  a card blank 14.5 cm square in white. Then I choose the pale pink and brown paper collections on the Pretty Pastels cd, to start the layers which I adhered to the card using collall glue. I then cut the Tattered Lace die out of the brown paper I had already printed, these dies release so well, I didn't have to even tap it or anything the pieces just fell out perfectly with just one push through of my grand calibur. I stamped my tree image onto pink paper using a versa mark ink pad,  I heat embossed it in gold. I  split the tattered lace die-cut up into the pieces I wanted to use, the outer edge being a frame for my stamped image, in which I glued to the stamped image paper then trimmed around the die cut to make it level. I added the layers of the card and some lace from my stash across the bottom half of the card, I then chose the middle part of the die as like a square doily, glued that to the top left of the card, then added my topper using sticky pads so leaving it protruding out a little to give dimension. I then went back to the little die -cuts I had left and thought the corners were perfect to pop  on each of the other three corners to add a little detail. I  stamped my sentiment from the heart tree stamp set, added it to the bottom left corner, stamped  3 large and 3 small flowers from the same stamp set , I used a quickie glue pen to add the glue to the flowers then added some glitter to make them sparkle. To finish off I added a string bow and pearls. Thank you for looking at this post I do appreciate it, and would love it if you would like to leave a comment too.
