Fuchsia Cuttables

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all well, all great here at Dreamees HQ, after a very busy week from our show on Create and Craft on Tuesday this week. A big thank you to you all, who made it so special for us with more sell outs on the show. We had some new items on the show which proved so popular which is great so wait for more coming very soon.

Today I have a card to show you which I have made using the Cuttables Brand New cd rom for use  with cutting machines, like Brother Scan and Cut and the Silhouette Cameo , this cd is only available here at the moment.

I have made the card using embellishments from the cd also the lovely sentiment is on the cd too, this cd comes with cutting files in various formats for the machines, also lots of backing papers for you to print and lots of other things too so you can make your card from start to finish with this cd.

First of all I cut the mask for the background of the card, then the leaves and the fuchsia shape petals to make up the 3d flowers. I must admit the Fuchsia is one of my fave flowers so this is why I picked this one to make. I then printed out the sentiment and  used a spellbinders die to cut this out, but having said that you could cut a  shape on the machine which are already on there when you purchase the machine, it may not be like this one but there is plenty on there.
I then stuck the mask to the base card, also the leaves in an arrangement ready for the 3d flowers to add onto. I added the sentiment in the bottom right hand corner and added a bow using the seam binding available here
To make the flowers I printed the paper on both sides so you cant see the white of the paper underneath, for the middle stamens of the flowers I just cut like a fringe effect and glued those into the centre.
This is then the card finished.

Thank you so much for looking at this card today. I really appreciate it.

Recipe of Christmas Eve

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all doing well, and looking forward to a lovely weekend.

Here at Dreamees HQ we have been really busy again which is fantastic. Last weekend saw us travel to Port Sunlight the Happy Stampers Festival, wow what a show it was so nice excellently organized everyone so friendly too, we met so many new customers which again was lovely, we had some lovely chats with crafters too which is always so nice.

This week saw us on Create and Craft yesterday (Thursday 9th October) wow what a fantastic show too, we had the lovely Nigel May for our presenter he  always a pleasure to work with we have so much fun which is great.

This weekend we are busy with getting more stock sorted for the show next weekend at the Dome in Doncaster which the show is called Whichcraft.

Getting onto the card I am showing you all today is a sample we took to Create and Craft it shows the stamp sets, Christmas Recipe Bundle, and the Twig Wreath which are available only from Create and Craft for 1 month, here is the link to take you to them http://www.createandcraft.tv/Dreamees_Christmas_Recipe_Bundle_-_3_Square_Stamp_Sets-328963.aspx?fh_location=//CreateAndCraft/en_GB/$s=dreamees

Also I have used the new Gem Collection, http://www.createandcraft.tv/Dreamees_Gem_Collection_-_Approx_800_in_total-328969.aspx?p=1

For this card I have used some lovely Vellum embossed with a folder through the E bosser which gives such a lovely effect for the base card. I then stamped the flowers from the Twig Wreath stamp set with versamark and embossed with Cosmic Shimmer  True White Embossing Powder , shaped the petals and layered up the 4 sizes together to make 3 flowers then added a gem in the centre of each one.
I then stamped the Recipe stamp with Silver embossing powder cut this out with a spellbinders die, added this to the top right of the card, then added a smaller flower made as before just using 2 sizes of the stamp, added 3 gems to the bottom of the verse. Also I then added the swirl which is the Tonic Die Frond Finesse cut out of silver mirror card.
I do hope you enjoy this post and leave a comment.

Thank you again

Carol xx
