Vintage Santa

Hello everyone,

I hope you all have had a lovely weekend , we have had a rare one at home no show or workshop lol.
So this morning after doing a few household jobs I got on with this Vintage Santa card, I hope you like it . Its something a little different from me , as most of you know  I am not really an inky person but I did enjoy making this one.

I used backing papers from the out of the ordinary  cd rom, also the Santa  stamp, which I stamped onto watercolour card with gathered twigs distress ink pad and dragged the ink in with a water brush.
I also used some cardboard for a backing on this card. I also made two tags  to hang out of the sides for more interest.

Thank you for looking today I appreciate it.

Autumn Delight

Hi everyone,

I hope this post finds you all well. We have had a mixture of weather here this week, and to finish the week off its rain.

Today I have a card to show you which is not normally what I do but I did enjoy making this one. It has been made using the Autumn  stamp set, available from Dreamees  .

I used gathered twigs distress ink pad to distress white paper then used the various leaf stamps in the set to make the background. I then stamped the main tree image again in gathered twigs, also around the edge of this topper image I stamped just little bits of the top of the tree to just give a little interest.
I then matt and layered the various pieces of card added a little lace and ribbon across the card and added a bow too.
The flower embellishment in the bottom left corner has been created with the leaf stamp , and same again in the top right this is just 3 leaves and a small flower added for extra detail.

I then added a few gold gems to the tree to finish.
I hope you have enjoyed looking at this card and I would appreciate and comments.

Thanks

Workshop projects

Hi Everyone,

Well here we are at the 1st October already , I really just do not know where this year is going, I suppose I will have to start Christmas shopping soon.

Last Saturday saw Dreamees at Craftstation in Kirkby in Ashfield  doing 2 - 3 hour workshops , they were both fully booked which was great, all the ladies enjoyed what they created , which makes it all worth while for us.

The ladies made everything in the picture here , in which we used stamps, and cds by Dreameees.
The Heart ornament was made using Christmas extravaganza which was something a little different for the ladies.
The tree Christmas card was made using papers from the Christmas essentials  cd and the Full Christmas tree stamp.

The third project was a little tag using the stamp Berry tree which the ladies could either use as a tag or as a topper on a card.

Thank you so much for looking, our next workshops at Craftstation is 15th March 2014.
